ABOUT US

Dr. Bennett is a native of Southeast Louisiana who attended LSU Medical School in New Orleans.  He completed his Internal Medicine training at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Tx, and his nephrology fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC.  After completing his tour of duty at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, Ga, he came to Alexandria and has been in the active practice of nephrology since.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology; and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.  He has served on multiple committees at the local hospitals, and is currently one of the local Medical Directors for Fresenius dialysis in Central Louisiana.

Dr. Gulati completed his internal medicine residency at The University of Illinois College of Medicine-Chicago and nephrology fellowship at Louisiana State Health Science Center – New Orleans. He is board certified in both nephrology and internal medicine. Dr. Gulati is also certified by The American society of Hypertension as a specialist in clinical hypertension.

Originally from India, Dr. Gulati is fluent in English and Hindi. He enjoys spending time traveling and cooking.

Dr. Bashir completed his Internal Medicine residency at University of Central Florida in Orlando in 2020. He went on to pursue fellowship training in Nephrology at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra / Northwell. During his fellowship, he also served as the Chief Fellow and graduated in July 2022.

Dr. Bashir is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology and he is passionate about providing exemplary care to patients with kidney diseases.

Dr. Bashir is an avid cricket fan and enjoys attending NFL/ NBA games in his free time. Originally from Pakistan, Dr. Bashir is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and English.

Dr. Goutham Talluri is a dedicated and skilled nephrologist, committed to delivering exceptional patient care. With a strong foundation in internal medicine and nephrology from esteemed institutions like Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Rutgers NJMS, he is well-equipped to tackle complex medical challenges. Originally from India, Dr. Talluri is fluent in English, Telugu and Kannada, with conversational skills in Hindi and Tamil. 

Outside of medicine, he enjoys exploring new destinations and cherishing moments with family and friends.

Nicole Dauzat is from Marksville, LA.  She completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Northwestern State University of Louisiana in Natchitoches, LA and Shreveport, LA.  She worked as a Registered Nurse at Willis-Knighton North in Shreveport for about one year before moving back home.  She was then employed as a Registered Nurse at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA from 2013-2018.  While employed at Rapides she went on to pursue her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL and completed the dual-track program in both Adult Gerontology Acute Care and Family Practice in 2018.  She is board certified as a Medical-Surgical nurse, an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, and a Family Nurse Practitioner.  She is currently a doctoral student at the University of South Alabama and was inducted as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.  She is also an active member of the American Nephrology Nurses Association.

Alise Dozier is from Baton Rouge, LA, but recently moved to Pineville, LA. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern University A&M, Baton Rouge, LA December of 1996. I worked as a Registered Nurse at Baton Rouge General Rouge General Medical Center for 2 years, before becoming a pool nurse at varies hospital in the Baton Rouge area. For 14 years I worked serving the community of Baton Rouge and surrounding areas in varies fields of nursing. I returned to Southern University A&M in August of 2010 to pursue my Master of Science in Nursing, with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner.  I obtained my degree in May of 2013. I worked in Hammond, LA as a Nephrology Nurse Practitioner for 4 years and I am passionate about educating clients and their family about kidney disease and prevention.

I enjoy reading and spending time with my husband Norman and our family.

Originally from Alexandria, Louisiana, Lauren Herron obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA. She served as a critical care nurse in the surgical intensive care unit for over 7 years and a dialysis nurse for 2 years. After several years working at the bedside, Lauren decided to return to school and received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2020.  Lauren is board certified as an Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, and a Critical Care nurse.

In her free time Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband Marcus, their sons Ty and Tuck, and their beagles Beaux and Emma.
